Holy is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in the month of March, and is originating from the Indian subcontinent and is celebrated predominantly in India and Nepal.
The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. It starts on the evening of Purnima, full moon day where people gather and perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire and pray for the internal evil to be destroyed. The fallowing day is celebrated as a free for all festival of colors where people trough and smear color on each other. Everyone is part of the celebration, poor or reach, friend or stranger, Woman or man, young or old. The music floods the temples and streets performed by Drums and other musical instruments. During the festival the special drink is intensively used, the Bhang and is made out of Cannabis, which is intoxicating but brings the freedom of enjoying the intensive celebration.

Bera – India

The Bera region is surrounded by forest and granite rocks where Leopard coexist with the local villagers / Live stock herders. Along this area there is a river that supports the life in this aired environment, river Jawai that forms a large dam that supports a very large number of birds, reptiles and mammals, so there is a place for any visitor ( photographer, birder, rock climber or a basic traveler that wants to experience ethnic culture, wildlife and amazing landscapes field up with many granite boulder) Do to Jeay the owner of the Bera Safari Lodge, this area is free of Granite mining and correlation between the villagers and the wild cats, the Leopard. In this area the locals share a spiritual connection leopard and the man and wildlife conflict is largely absent.
