During this tour you’ll receive daily photographic instruction from Gavriel and will have two session of image review. to make sure you are going back home with great images.

We have created this tour to accommodate couples where one out of the partner is a photographer and the other more of a traveler for the experience.


Day 1:   Arrive to Yangon – Arrive Yangon International Airport. Welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Yangon is changing, many new modern building are appearing almost every week,  but the city is still a decaying masterpiece, for the street photography, providing a colorful back ground to the main subjects.

In the afternoon  visit 210 feet long Chauk Htet Kyi Reclining Buddha image from 1905. We’ll also visit the monasteries around the Buddha image. Evening visit Sin Oodan Jetty by the river and sunset from there. Proceed to restaurant for welcome dinner. Back to the hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 2 –  Yangon -Morning sightseeing in Yangon: Fish market, China Town. Lunch at Golden duck  restaurant. Evening special visit to 2500 old Shwedagon Pagoda with over 60 tons of gold. Sunset from Shwedagon pagoda and dinner at hotel.

Day 3: fly to Bagan -After breakfast, early morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan.

Arrive Bagan and visit Sulamani . Lunch in Bagan BBB best Myanmar restaurant . Check inhotel and prepare for the sightseeing. We’ll also visit the village Sunset from Tayokepyay temple for sunset. Dinner in BBB restaurant.

Day 4: Bagan – Sightseeing in Bagan. Early morning 5:00 a.m. drive to the Minyeingone temple for sunrise. Back to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Sulamani temple and go to Reclining Buddha , name shinbintharlyaung , Shrizigon pagoda and photograph the walk way. Lunch at restaurant. Evening visit to Down town of Bagan,  Dinner.

Day 5: Bagan – Morning Balloon ride over  Bagan historical site ,After balloon ride back breakfast. After breakfast visit family lacquarware workshops. Sightseeing in Bagan: Back to the hotel for a break. After the break, visit to Minanthu village and photograph the ox-carts and the temples. shooting around Minanthu Village. Dinner at hotel. Over night at hotel.

Day 6: Bagan to Mandalay – After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay airport. Drive to Mahagandayon monastery, photograph over one thousand monka.  Mandalay region has more than 600  monasteries and many, many monks and nuns. Proceed to Mandalay. Lunch at Thai restaurant. Check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing: Drive to Amarapura to photograph girls with thanaka and photograph the sunset and U-Bein bridge. Drive to Amarapura and visit silk weaving factories. Proceed to Taung Thaman lake with famous teak bridge, U Bein. Sunset by the bridge. Back to Mandalay and enjoy dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel

Day 7: Mandalay – Saging – Mingun –  After breakfast  – Vegetable market, Stone carving street. Visit Menta monastery with round windows Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing:  Drive to the market near the River and sunset from the River with fisherman and fishing net.  Dinner and Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Mandalay to Inle lake -Heho – Inle (By flight) – Early morning drive to the airport for the flight to Heho. Arrive Heho

and drive to Nyaungshwe . Drive to jetty and boat ride to the sky lake floating resort. Check in hotel and have a break. Lunch at hotel.Sightseeing in Inle lake: fisherman in front of the sun at sunset. Back to the hotel and dinner at hotel.

Day 9: Inle Lake -Inle lake sightseeing Early morning sunrise with the fishermen. Back to the Hotel for the breakfast. Visit Kaylar village and Visit Padaung long neck families. Lunch at restaurant. Visit, silk and Lotus weavings factory. Back to the hotel and go out again for the Sunset with the fishermen on the lake and visit the village. Back to the hotel and dinner at hotel.

Day 10: Inle to Yangon – Inle – Heho – Yangon (By flight) Early morning boat ride to Nyaungshwe. Drive to Heho and flight back to Yangon. Shopping in Yangon. Lunch at restaurant. Check in the hotel, and evening  Special visit to Shwedagon pagoda for the second time for the full moon festival. Sunset from there. Farewell dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Yangon Departure Home –

Yangon Departure – after breakfast will be  transfer to the airport for the departure flight home.

We strongly suggest to our participants to consider this tour more than a photography tour, but also a cultural tour. Please be respectful to the locals will photographing or interacting with them, the Burmese people are some of the nicest in the world and we don’t want to disrespect them when we photograph, if someone say no to taking photos , please respect their privacy and don’t take that photo.
