In November Japan explodes into a dazzling array of color as autumn hits its peak. This photo tour to Japan is focusing on the most exceptional landscapes, temples, shrines, waterfalls and lakes that Japan has to offer.

TRAVEL SCHEDULE:

Day 1 – Nov 7 Meet in Osaka at the hotel ( to be decided ) We highly recommend to arrive a day early to adjust to the time zone and wander through this beautiful mega city


Day 2 – Nov 8 Osaka to Kyoto

On the second day of our Japanese photo tour, we will be moving to Kyoto. Kyoto is a Japanese big attraction where the old and the new blinds together. For the next three days will spend out time exploring the city’s most famous cultural sites enveloped by the magical colors of the autumn season, this will include the traditional gardens, palaces, shrines and temples.  To avoid the crowds in some of this areas will start early morning and be back for a late breakfast and live for the field season again in the late afternoon to take advantage of the light conditions.

Day 3 – Nov 9Kyoto On the third day , you will continue to explore Kyoto, capturing the very best of the city’s cultural landmarks. You will continue your visits to Kyoto’s most fascinating temples, surrounded by the flowering greens, yellows, oranges and red colours of fall. There are over 1600 shrines and temples throughout Kyoto, as well as intriguing rock gardens and pagodas steeped in ancient history and rich culture. Each has its own characteristic, so we will take our time capturing these tranquil zen0like areas, some of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Again, you will retire to accommodation in Kyoto for the evening

Day 4 – Nov 10Kyoto On the fourth day will visit the historical Gion district, the picturesque streets of Sannen-zaka & Ninnen-zaka, and the Hokan-ji – Yasaka pagoda. However, we would like to remind you that it is strictly forbidden to take pictures in the historical Gion district, due to numerous abuses by tourists towards geishas and locals.What’s for sure, however, is that time your time in Kyoto will be invaluable, not just as a traveller, but as a photographer too. Your portfolio will be bursting at the seams with new contributions!  You will spend your final night at the inn in Kyoto. 

Day 5 – Nov 11Kyoto to Nara – The first permanent capital of Japan in the 8th century:
– The Shinto shrine of Kasuga Taisha and its thousands of lanterns,
– The Todaiji, its great bronze Buddha and the imposing Nan-Daimon gate,
– The Kofukuji temple with its beautiful pagoda.

Day 6 -Nov 12 Nara


Day 7 -Nov 13 Nara to the Shikoku area


Day 8 – Nov 14Shikoku


Day 9 -Nov 15Shikoku to Hiroshima


Day 10 – Nov 16 Hiroshima


Day 12 – Nov 17Hiroshima to Osaka ( Depart for home in the evening or spend an additional day and depart for home on Nov. 18 /2023

We accept all major credit cards;  Paypal is an accepted method of payment processing for any of our tours.  You can pay by credit card this way without joining Paypal yourself, or you can open a Paypal account, if you wish. Payments are made directly online (and any personal details are protected through our secure server) – we do not take or store any credit card information, this is done at Paypal’s site.

We have a verified account with Paypal which means that we have provided proof of our personal details, bank account, and address.

Should you choose to use this payment method, you are responsible for all PayPal charges on the transfer of funds.  The best “rule of thumb” is to expect to pay an additional  4 % based on the amount of money you are transferring. Based on your using PayPal as your method of payment, we add 3% additionally to the sum  you are sending me to cover PP charges.
