Day 1 – 2/19 Tokyo
Arrive at any time. There are no plans until the evening welcome meeting, so spend
some time exploring. Meet your local guide who will assist you during your stay.
After briefing with the guide in the hotel lobby, go for a welcome dinner together
to get to know your fellow travelers.

Day 2 2/20 Tokyo – Kushiro
Fly to Hokkaido in the morning from Haneda Airport. Take a private car to Kushiro Shitsugen National Park to photograph landscapes through the sunset.

Day 3 2/21 Akan Mashu
Early in the morning will drive to Akan Mashu National Park – Lake Mashu with breath taking view of the many volcanoes and birch forest in the snow.

Day 4 2/22 Tsurui Rausu
In the morning after breakfast we will head to Rausu, Shiretoko National park to Photograph, There is a chance that will see some wildlife to in this area.

Day 5 2/23 Lake Furen
In the morning, The sun will rise from the Kunashiri Island side and it is great for Landscape photography. in the afternoon through the evening will head to the Notsuke Peninsula. Beside landscapes we can see and photograph some herds of the Ezo Sika deer in the snow fields.

Day 6 2/24 Lake Furen to Akan
After breakfast will continue our journey to a small village near lake Kussharo. On the way we will stop
at lake Mashu for landscape photography. We will also stop for any other wildlife
on the roadsides that will see.

Day 7 2/25 Akan Abashiri
After breakfast, we will head to Abashiri. On the way, we will take you
to breathtaking scenic spots of winter including Bihoro pass.

Day 8 2/26 Abashiri Asahikawa
In the morning, we will try to photograph the Ezo Momonga (Russian Flying
Squirrels) at some park in Abashiri. Later, board a train to Asahikawa (4-hour trip).
After arrival in Asahikawa, head to hotel and relax.

Day 9 2/27 Asahikawa (Furano/Biei)
Explore the Biei, Tokachidake and Asahidake area for the day with the aim of
getting minimalist and dramatic mountain landscape images. On this day will we
also visit the famous and spectacular frozen Shirahige Falls. At night, visit the Biei
Blue Ponds at night to see the colorful light show over the frozen water.

Day 10 2/28 Asahikawa – Tokyo
After breakfast, head to Asahikawa airport. With free time in the evening in Tokyo,
opt to explore more of Tokyo’s diverse districts on your own.

Day 11 3/1 Tokyo
Head to the airport by public transportation according to your flight time. The tour
concludes after arrival at the airport.

Baggage allowance: Economy class baggage allowance for domestic flights is 20 kg. Additional Charge will be

if a piece of baggage exceeds 32 kg or 203 cm in total linear dimensions.

Notes:
Lunch during the tour is NOT included. You can buy food from the local convenience stores or eat at the local
restaurants. Each person should prepare to pay for these individually, prepare to have some cash on hand , some small restaurants in remote areas will not accept credit cards.
Some hotels only offer futon style bedding, where people will sleep on a mattress laid out on the floor, the traditional Japanese style.
